Terms and Conditions
Last updated August 2026.
These terms govern your access to and use of the Event Planning Institute website and courses. By enrolling or using this site, you agree to them.
Your account
When you enroll you receive a personal account and login. Sign-in is a one-time code emailed to your address, so you are responsible for keeping access to that email account secure, and for activity under your account. Your access is for your own use and may not be shared, resold, or transferred.
Course access and content
Enrolling grants you a personal, non-transferable license to access the course you purchased for as long as we offer it. The course content, templates, and certificate designs remain our property and may not be redistributed or republished.
Payment
Course fees are charged in USD and processed securely by our payment provider. Prices are shown on the course pages and may change, but a change will not affect a course you have already purchased.
Refunds and guarantee
Both courses are covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, email us within 30 days of your purchase and we will refund the full cost.
Certification
The Certified Event Planning Professional (C.E.P.P.) is awarded on completion of the training and a passing score on the online exam. It reflects completion of our program and is not a government license or accreditation.
Limitation of liability
Our training is educational. We do not guarantee specific income or business results, which depend on your own effort and circumstances. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your course.
Who you are contracting with
Event Planning Institute is a trading name of Asymmetric Bets Limited, a company registered in New Zealand.Asymmetric Bets Limited is the seller of the courses described here and the party your payment is made to.
Your card statement will show the charge as ONLINEEDU* EVENTPLAN, which isAsymmetric Bets Limited rather than the name of this site. That is deliberate, and it is why the descriptor is published here rather than left for you to work out from your bank.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the courts of New Zealand have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Nothing here limits any right you have under consumer law in the country you live in, which applies whatever this section says.
