The Event Planning Institute ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our site or enroll in a course, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this site you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

When you enroll we collect your name and email address, and any other details you provide. Payment is processed by our payment provider; we do not store your full card details on our servers. We also collect basic usage data such as the pages you visit and your progress through the course.

How we use your information

We use your information to give you access to your course, manage your account, issue your certificate, respond to support requests, and send you essential service emails. We may send occasional updates about our courses, and you can opt out at any time.

Third-party services

We use trusted third parties to run our business, including Stripe for secure payment processing and Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their service and under their own privacy policies.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to see which pages help people and which ones do not, so we can improve the course and the site around it. When you allow it, Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser (named _ga and _ga_ followed by a code for this site) that let us recognize a returning visit. They last up to two years and hold a randomly generated identifier, not your name or your email address.

Nothing is stored in your browser until you allow it. Analytics starts in a mode that stores no identifiers at all, so we can count a page view without recognizing you. If you are visiting from the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland we ask you before that changes, and until you answer, and if you decline, nothing is stored. Elsewhere, using the site is taken as agreement, and you can still decline by using your browser's own cookie controls or a tracking blocker. To change your mind after answering, clear this site's data in your browser settings and you will be asked again.

When you buy a course we also send a record of the purchase to Google Analytics from our own servers rather than from your browser. That record contains the order number, the amount, the currency, which course was bought and any voucher code used. It does not contain your name, your email address or any payment details. If you have not allowed analytics cookies, that record is not linked to your browsing and is not used for advertising.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use analytics to build advertising profiles.

Data security and retention

We take reasonable measures to protect your information and retain it only as long as needed to provide your course and meet our legal obligations. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing info@eventplanninginstitute.com.
